We have some great news! Following the growth of Mind5 around the world, and in the UK in particular, Mind5 has been invited to attend a research launch event at the House of Lords this December. The event is a follow up of the 2017 Farmer-Stevenson Report, Thriving at Work, and will focus on wellbeing within the construction industry, with the biggest construction companies in the UK in attendance.

It is important that we have some idea of the real reasons why people react to stress the way that they do - otherwise, we cannot do a lot to help them. Your role is crucial because you want to be non-judgemental when observing and coaching your participants, but that’s not always easy.

Mind5® training uses self-defense and Krav Maga techniques to simulate stress and employs mindfulness techniques to learn to return to a balanced state and fully recover, thereby increasing resilience and performance under stress. While we are using Krav Maga as a basis for this experience, the outcomes and benefits are applicable in all situations in daily life.

Today is exactly ten months since my last work day as Country Manager in the sports sponsoring industry. A few weeks before, I had told the COO that I resigned because I was frustrated, I wasn’t using my talents, I felt that I was not performing at 100% and that I started hating Mondays.
